Expanding, growing, and educating!

Even with the economy in such disarray, Savvy Investors and Realtors are aggressively growing their business. If you read my last post “2009, It’s starting Big” I am sure you understand why.

Because of the huge growth in business in the first quarter of 2009, we have expanded our business to include new partnerships and some new agents that have joined with Execuhome Realty.

First, we have partnered with Dan Grady, Certified Distressed Property Expert, to bring his expertise into the mix with Short Sales. Short sales, at this time, are a very large part of the real estate industry and is still growing. To that end, we felt it important to have someone that specializes in this market segment to insure outstanding representation for every seller, no matter their current situation.

Dan has proven himself a great asset to many homeowners and spends much time in seminar settings educating homeowners of their options in this market. I look forward to fiurther expanding this professional partnership with Dan.

2009-It’s starting off big!

Amidst all of the doom and gloom generated by the media, this year has started out as one of the best first quarters we have had since starting our real estate business in Maryland.

The real estate market “correction” that has occurred over the past year has brought about two major changes in the market that are outstanding for ANY buyer currently in the market.

1) Prices of existing and new home construction have dropped dramatically-in some areas as much as 30%, making way for some great buys on the market.

2) The interest rates are maintaining some of their lowest levels of the past few decades!

Investors are expanding their portfolios ten-fold as they are receiving more opportunities for great deals than anytime in recent history. There is a very strong rental market and investors are finding those properties that can fill the gaps in the rental community.

First time buyers are seizing their chance to get into the house of their dreams at a great price, while maintaining their mortgage payments about the same as rent! Not the mention the $8000 Federal Tax Credit they will receive!

Move up buyers are taking advantage of low prices and low interest rates. Moving from their townhouse with a small yard, to a nice single family yard with a nice yard and garage! Not to mention maintaining their mortgage payment not much different from what they were used to in the town home!

Don’t hesitate too long if you are considering a home purchase this year, the market will level and begin to move back in the sellers direction. This could be the year that you find your dream home or increase your retirement fund through a few investment properties.
